Furniture RE-START Project

This is a project that fits to the European Union’s Re-Industrialization Agenda. It also has aspects of Advanced Manufacturing. In the traditional manufacturing sub-sector of furniture it introduces a niche for poorer South East European Counties.

The Project has different elements for a diverse set of regions – from the most advanced (Baden-Wurtemberg, Bavaria and Austria) to the least advanced in Europe (Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria). It also has elements that meet the Smart Specialization Agenda – create a significant niche building on excising skills, markets and traditions.
